SOURCE: need Wiring Schematic/Diagram for 89 Astro GT16 boat

In all honesty, its probably impossible to get the original wiring diagram. Also, I would be willing to bet that there has been alot of re-wiring and changes made to the wiring and electrical system of the boat. If you describe exactly what your trying to do, install fix or re-wire I may be able to better assist

SOURCE: 3 wire tilt/trim installation help

If you have a multimeter which can cost less than $10 or a test light. What you want to do is have the up button pressed and see which 2 wires have power. The 3rd wire should not have power. Then press the down button and see which to wires have power. It should change. Most likely the black is common and feeds power to the switch. When pushed up the blue gets power. When pushed down the green gets power. You may have to provide a ground to the motor from the battery.

Honda Jazz 2014 how to replace tailgate lock

Replacing the tailgate lock on a Honda Jazz 2014 involves several steps. Here's a general outline of the process:
  1. Open the tailgate: Begin by opening the tailgate and locating the lock mechanism.
  2. Remove the trim panel: You will need to remove the trim panel that covers the tailgate lock mechanism. This may require the use of a trim tool or a screwdriver, depending on the exact model of your Honda Jazz.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connections: After removing the trim panel, you will need to disconnect any electrical connections that are attached to the lock mechanism. This will likely involve disconnecting the wires from the tailgate lock switch.
  4. Remove the old lock mechanism: Next, you will need to remove the old lock mechanism. This may require the use of a socket wrench or pliers, depending on the type of mechanism that is installed.
  5. Install the new lock mechanism: Once the old lock mechanism has been removed, you can install the new one. Make sure that the mechanism is securely fastened and that all electrical connections are properly reattached.
  6. Reinstall the trim panel: Finally, reinstall the trim panel that covers the lock mechanism.
It is important to note that this process can vary depending on the exact model of your Honda Jazz, so it is always a good idea to consult your owner's manual or a professional mechanic for specific instructions and guidance. Additionally, it is recommended that you wear protective gloves and safety glasses when working on the tailgate lock to avoid injury.

  14. Remove the ignition lock cylinder from the lock cylinder case.

To install:
  1. Insert the ignition lock cylinder through the trim cover in the upper steering column.
  2. Align the lock cylinder retaining tab and the position tab with the slots in the lock housing.
  3. Completely push the lock cylinder into the lock housing.
NOTE Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  4. Install the retaining screws to the upper steering trim cover and tighten the screws to 31 inch lbs. (3.5 Nm).
  5. Match the tab slots on the lower trim cover with the locking tabs on the upper trim cover.
  6. Tilt the lower trim cover up and slide the lower trim cover until the locking tabs snap into the tab slots.

  8. Install the tilt lever close out plate.
  9. Install the steering wheel.
  10. Enable the SIR system, as outlined in the Chassis Electrical Section.
  11. Connect the battery negative cable.

  6. Remove the right hand insulator panel.
  7. Remove the CPA from the inflatable restraint instrument panel module connector located behind the RH insulator panel.
  8. Disconnect the instrument panel module connector

  10. Disconnect the side impact module-left front connector.
  11. Remove the CPA from the inflatable restraint side impact module-right front connector located under the front passenger seat.
  12. Disconnect the side impact module-right front connector.
NOTE With the fuse removed, the AIR BAG or SIR light will illuminate if the ignition switch is turned ON at any time. This is normal and does not indicate a problem when the system is disarmed.

Arming The SIR System
  1. Be sure the ignition is in the LOCK position.
  2. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module-right front connector located under the front passenger seat.
  3. Install the CPA to the side impact module-right front connector.
  4. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module-left front connector located under the driver seat.

  6. Engage the yellow SIR connector, then secure using the CPA device for both the drivers and passenger sides.
  7. Install the sound insulator panel.
  8. Install the SIR system fuse to the fuse block.
  9. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and verify that the AIR BAG indicator light flashes 7 times, then extinguishes. If it does not go out, troubleshoot the SIR system fault.
