Every time I turn on my mp3 player it says it is locked, but it isnt. I replaced the batteries several times but thats not the problem.
I have the same problem
I know someone who can solve this problem

when i turn on my mp3 it says its locked when it isnt then wen i charge it says its locked still

some Mp3 players have a hold button! maybe the hold button is on a wont let the Mp3 come on!

My opal turned off almost immediately after turning on, even after adding tunes and having it rebuild the database. It turned out that if the HOLD switch is turned on (locking the buttons) the thing shuts off automatically when it wants to come to the menu. Flipping that switch off made it work fine.
