Remove stand from LG 50PC5D

I just bought a LG 50PC5D and don't know which screws to remove to take the tv off the stand.  The manual doesn't address this anywhere.  Any ideas?

Just did it.  4 screws total, 2 on each side.  One screw on each side is deep in a recess in the stand.  The other screw is just above.  Remove these and the TV comes right off.

There are four screws in the back of the TV above where the stand is. Inbetween the screws is a metal handle that pulls out. These four screws need to be removed and the metal handle pulled out. Then the TV will come off the stand.remove stand from LG 50PC5D - 974336c.png

Just figured it out.  It appears that there are only 2 screws holding the TV to the stand, but there are 2 more screws just above the you need to unscrew as well.  Once you have unscrewed all 4 screws simply lift the TV straight up off of the stand.  Now my LG 42PC5D looks outstanding on the wall!!

I can't remove the stand from my tv to store it in the box. i removed the screws but i can't remember if i'm supposed to just pop off the plastic stand.

By looking at this for you it seems to just come off once the screws are taken out. Please double check all screws are out. Additionally the manual may be of some extra assistance, available at:

The screws broke off when trying to remove the tv stand from my LG 42lg30. Is there any other way to remove the base stand? thanks

If you broke one of the base stand screw you will need to do as follow:

Remove the remaining screws of the stand and try to remove the stand, if you cant you will need to remove the back cover of the TV and then you will be able to remove the stand, remove the broken screw and put it all back.

It is pretty easy but if you feel you cant do it let me know and I can give you a detailed step by step guide.

How to remove stand

Just taken the stand off my LG 42LC2D. The stand is made of cast aluminum and has 2 long legs that insert into the base of the TV. So to remove the stand lay the TV on its screen and remove the two screws that are vertically in line next to the power socket the the 2 screws that are vertically in line under the RGB socket. The stand then pulls out from the bottom of the TV.
