Question about Washing Machines
Is it possible to take a Whirlpool 3363736 washing machine motor and use it as a bench grinder to run a wire wheel?
If so does anyone have the wiring schematics to hook it up? The wiring connection on the motor is part no: 62850 and has this color scheme: BK, V, W-BK, BU, Y, EMPTY, W, OR, EMPTY, R.
Any help w/b appreciated!
more details on the motor:
Part Number 3363736
Model number C68PXTRS-4419
1/2 Horse Power
Amps 9.8/ 9.0 RPM 1725 / 1140
Thermally Protected L
Ambient temperature rating 40 deg. C
I see bench grinders for about ten or twenty dollars at the flea markets all the time. They also have the $$ grinding wheels on them.
