Question about Computers & Internet
My computer got a virus, so, I used the recovery disks that came with the computer to get it back to the out-of-the-box state. I have tried to run the recovery disks 4 times, and every time the computer just shuts off at around 55% of completion. Any idea why this should happen? I have used the recovery disks twice before and did not have a problem then.
Hi lcmitcham did try boot-up anti virus program that will check memory when you boot-up and check the bios for viruses if you don't have a virus than i suggest that you do a clean start by formating the hd and start fresh.
