With a laptop computer, nearly everything is integrated onto the system board. This means there's very little you can do to upgrade the computer beyond adding additional RAM. You can also install a larger hard drive, but that's not really an upgrade. Replacing the processor wouldn't be worth the cost and effort as it wouldn't make a noticeable difference in your computer's operation.
The best thing to do if you are really unhappy with your current system's performance is to install as much RAM as it can take. Other than that, put your money into a replacement computer that already has the specs you're looking for.
