The microwave does not heat up the food but everything works except the fact that it don't heat up the food

Hi!

The most common cause of the problem you described is a burned fuse. It is normally located inside the case, directly on a wire leading from the transformator to the magnetron. If you are not sure about those parts, please get a professional to fix the issue.

Good luck!

Subaru wrx impreza showing fault code p0037. how do i fix this fault which sensor is it and where is the sensor located?

http://helpforcars.net/obd_codes/codes.php?code=P0037

It's an O2 sensor according to the above link, and it is bank 1 sensor 2 low, the 2 meaning that it is downstream past the catalytic converter but not on the manifold.

- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 2 circuit open shorted to ground
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 2 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 2 circuit
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 2 circuit fuse
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) Possible Solution Tech Notes The code means that there is a problem with the heater element circuit of the heated oxygen sensor. Water getting inside the heated oxygen sensor connector can caused the heated oxygen sensor fuse to blow, which is a very common problem for this type codes. Before replacing the sensor, check for the condition of the heated oxygen sensor fuse and connectors.
Good luck on this repair.

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat. check out this electric no heat tip...

Hello, I have whirlpool dryer model # LER7646JQ0. My dryer works great with one exception, it has no heat. I checked the heating element and all of the coils are intact. I then replaced the thermostat and...

Hello avonladywend,

After reading your post I can't help but wonder, have you checked to insure the dryer has 240vac going to it. These dryer's will appear to work almost perfectly with 120vac, with one exception...you guessed it, No Heat !

If you know the location of your homes service panel go to it. Locate the 30amp breaker and turn it all the way "off" and then all the way "on" do not just identify it and assume it is ok because ot doesn't appear "tripped".

This happens all to often when I go to a customers home. The first words out of there mouths is "It's not the breaker I checked" and then I physically check "reset" the breaker ( after verifying the dryer is only receiving 120vac and not 240vac with my meter ) and what do you know, heat !

That could be the problem all it's own. The other thing to look for is a poor connection ( loose and burnt or badly oxidized...or both ) on either of the "hot" cord lines coming into the unit, either the red or black.

Let me know what you find out, but that's where I'd be looking before installing anymore part's.

good luck.

I cannot find the fuse box for the heated seats in my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000. Also the "thing" that tells me when I need an oil change, which direction I'm going, etc. is no longer changing when I push...

The heated seat fuse is located in the junction block behind the left side of the dash. It is fuse number 20, a 10amp fuse. As for the driver information center not changing the display when you push the button, I believe this is a single unit and a relatively common issue ( I have a Grand Cherokee in my shop, for a different problem, and it is doing the same thing). My guess is that the entire info center needs to be replaced to fix the issue. Good luck!!

Not getting hot

Check the following areas to combat this issue. the most common problem spot will be a blown Thermal fuse.

1. Gas valve coils
Igniter glows, then shuts off without igniting gas - the problem is probably with defective coils (black, located on top of the gas valve). It is recommended to replace all coils (usually two or three) if found defective.

Note: Sometimes the whole gas valve may be defective, thus not letting the gas out. However, this problem is not common.

2. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.

3. Igniter
Igniter may burn out or break. Replace the igniter if found defective.

Note: Igniters are very fragile and break easily. It is recommended to handle the igniter only touching the ceramic part of it (usually white in color).

4. Flame sensor (or radiant heat sensor)
Replace the sensor (located near the igniter) if found defective.

Hi, there are three issues that will cause a no heat situation in a microwave. these issue are a failed Magnetron, busted cut-off fuse and, failed diode.

I recommend checking all these area that are located inside the microwave for faults.

The most common issue will be a failed Magnetron.

The diode and, fuse will be located on the noise filter assembly.

Will not heat!

Hi!

In most of the cases, this is usually due to a bad magnetron, the other time is sometimes a bad high voltage diode which you have already replaced.

Most of the common things are....loose high voltage wire.....poor solder joint on board.....magnetron.....power relay or a bad door switch. Other possible problems are a faulty relay or solder joint on the power module, but a bad door switch is most common. Please check all these to resolve the issue you are facing with.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Hi, Have you checked the venting to the outside? Is this gas or electric? If it is gas, it could be coils on top the gas valve. I want to help.
