Need to know what channel my TV needs to be on to watch DVD/VCR

The channel you use depends on how you have the vcr/dvd player wired to it. If you used a co-axial wire, then your tv should be on channel 3. If you used RCA wires, then you will have a button, either on the front of the tv, on the remote, or both that says "input" or "source". Pressing this will change the TV to the rca connectors.
