Question about Black & Decker String Trimmer Cordless 12" 18V
My Ryobi 150r string trimmer won't run.
However, when I press the trigger while it is plugged into the charger, it does run (albeit a bit slower than usual.)
Does this mean I need a new battery? Or is there something else to check first?
The only thing that could be related, I can think of, is that the trigger was sticky recently. My -guess- is that somehow the battery slowly discharged completely and fried itself in the process.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Is the string spool seated on the rachet correctly? If so and all is well, it is worth noting that these trimmers auto feed fuunction is problematic at best, requiring manually unwinding some line every few minutes as the unit gets older.
