Question about PNY Technologies GeForce 6200 128MB AGP Graphic Card

1 Answer

PNY Attache USB (4GB pen drive) not recognized by WinXP SP3

It shows as "Removable Disk (D:) but when I right click on it to open it it tells me insert a disk. IT IS already inserted! I cannot reformat it or download any more drives for thru Windows MS This device is "supposed" to be compatible with XP 2002 But when I go thru the device mgr it says its space is unallocated and therefore does not offer the "Format" option when I right click on it only offers to partition it and this will appearently reduce a 3.7GB storage device to 3885 mega bytes according to the dialogue box that appears.HELP!

Your USB memory should be damaged. i have a Centon DataStickPro 4GB that was OK but now i have the same problem. If you know HOW you can try re-format on DOS, but be careful with your harddrive.

By the way, 3885 MB are 3.7GB or so.....

You can try buying another one, SAME MODEL, then the same/next day return the BAD ONE to the store and get your money back.

From the SanDisk website it says Win2000 and WinXP certified. It says nothing about Win7. try it in a different pc with Xp and see if it works. If it does then it is not compatible with Win7

We just bought a 4gb micro sd card with sd adapter and it is not recognized on our computer. Is this a software problem?

When the flash memory device appears to malfunction it maybe possible to restore it by reformatting it. Insert the flash drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management.
Then right click on Disk 1 removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted it will indicate that it is Healthy.

You need to format the external drive. Format the drive as primary drive and in FAT32. (FAT32 will allow data to be exchanged between MACs and PCs).
Insert the external hard drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management.
Then right click on Disk 1 removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted it will indicate that it is Health
