There is a bit of software that comes on a disc that removes your password so you can go without or renew your password. Mine cost me 2 pound,i got it on ebay.Called pc engineers toolkit. There are others also.If you can remember how you put in your password you might be able to change it from there or reload your op. system, if you have a disc and a code

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I locked the screen and dont know how to unlock it. The computer comes on but the screen is blank and dont show anything.

If you cannot log on to Windows by using a particular user account, but you can log on to another account that has administrative credentials, follow these steps on how to do the trick:

1. Log on to Windows by using an administrator account that has a password that you remember. You may need to start WinXP in safe mode.
(To start in 'Safe Mode', Restart machine, and press 'F8' repeatedly.)

2. One in Windows, Click Start, and then click Run.

3. In the Open box, type "control userpasswords2?, and then click OK.

4. Click the user account that you forgot the password for, and then click Reset Password.

5. Type a new password in both the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and then click OK.

IBM Thinkpad

When you first start the machine, start pressing F8. It should go into safe mode. Safe mode looks different than the regular Windows mode, and there will be a screen with user account boxes, just like when you logged off in Windows. One box will have administrator, another will have whoever had the computer before, and there may be another with guest. Click on the administrator box, then open user accounts from the control panel. Then you can open the user account with the password and clear it. If you still can't get to safe mode let me know and we'll try a forceful way.
