Question about Dyson DC14 All floors Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
No suction at sweeper end but can get suction from attachments
It may be something else. I have just had the same problem and I turned my Dyson over and removed the head bar by turning the 3 plastic screws. I found that a small plastic pipe, on the left handside, that attaches the head to the main machine had come off. I eased this back into its housing and problem is now fixed. Not bad for a total technophobe!

That suggests that there is a blockage in the vacuum head. i would advise you do what you can to clean the head as best as possible and any tubing that is integral to the sweeper head.
