Question about HP 530 Notebook PC
I have a HP notebook 530 that I bought at a flea market when I bought it it had a bad hard drive so I replaced the hard drive and started installing windows on it and now it ask me for a a power on password any idea of how to fix this problem?
Using a screwdriver, You'll be able to open a cover on the bottom of the laptop and disconnect the CMOS battery which will clear the power on password. Try to find the laptops Maintenance and Service guide online if you're unsure of how to do this. Google should find it for you.
