Power cord connector was badly damaged and was unable to charge unit. Purchased new power cord, but unit would not power up or charge. Tried reset procedure as outlined in owners manual, but still does not power up.Tried another working C550 power cord, but still no results. What seems to be my problem?

Samsung gt 55830 is not charging the battreies

follow the instruction and fix it. God bless you

Bad cable connection

Check the USB cable for damage and dirt, especially at the ends. Then try using the wall charger, as this will provide greater power input than the computer/USB.

Broken charger or USB cord

Try using different chargers to see if you may have a problem with your charger or cord.

Obstructed/bad dock connector

Inspect the 30-pin dock connector at the bottom of the iPhone for dirt, lint, and damaged pins. Clean out the dock connector very carefully with a tooth pick or soft toothbrush. If the dock connector is broken, you will have to replace it.

I can not get my Asus Eee Pad TF101 to charge at all

Try another AC outlet. Maybe the AC jack has been damaged, due to pulling on the cord? Maybe the battery is dead? The cord you used is damaged, Was the other cord you tried the EXACT same power spec? If not it could fry a component.

My tablet wont charge unless turned on but battery is so low it wont turn on so cant charge it up.heeeeeelllllpppp

You Power Cord must be bad. If you cannot get on the laptop by using just the power cord, then the power cord is bad and needs to be replaced. Also it sounds like you've been operating off your battery since the power cord is bad, but now the battery is dead because the bad power cord was not charging it.

Get a new AC Adapter and Power Cord. Or it could be that the pin where you plug the power cord into the table is damaged or broken.

I had a problem with my dell latitude d510 battery so i purchased a new one. And i have to charge the battery but when i plug in the ac adapter, i will see there on power icon that charger plugged in not...

Your charge is bad. Buy a new AC Adapter Power Card. The battery will not charge if the AC Adapter does not work.

I bet if you removed the battery and tried to power the laptop on with just the power cord, it would fail because the power cord is bad.

My dinamap is giving me E13 msg. and I have tried replacing cuff, hose and checked all connecters. I have 3 units so have tried the same connectors and hose with cuff on another unit and it works fine....

E13 indicates not enough battery power. Does this error come on when plugged into AC? If so, please check the front of the unit to see if the green charging light is on (seen under mmHG), I bet you it's not illuminated. Check your power cord to power brick connection and the barrell connector to Dinamap connection (one of them is probably loose). If they are seated fine yet no indicator is lit, replace the power cord and if that doesn't solve it then order a new power brick.

I have to wiggle power cord for it to connect for the battery to charge , i ordered a new cord and it does not fit tight nor does the orginial anymore, could there be a problem with connector from the pc

The connector on the motherboard needs to be resoldered. This is a common problem that has to be fixed right away. The loose connection will arc inside the unit and eventually damage the motherboard. Unfortunatly the entire laptop has to be disassembled as the motherboard needs to be removed . The connector needs to be removed from the board and reinstalled.

Power cord shorts out

Hello,

Three possible issues,

1. the cord is bad, to test this go to local PC shop and buy a universal power cord test it with this cord. If it works then your cord was bad and you have purchased the correct part. If it doesnt work return cord for a refund.

2. The connector inside the laptop that the power cord connects to is loose and has a short in it. If its loose take it to a PC Shop that knows how to solder and have them reconnect it securely.

3. The laptop has incurred internal damage possibly from a fall or ruff handling. If this is the case the Motherboard may need to be replaced. If this is the case consider purchasing a new laptop.

Hope this helps,
ArmyMason
