No monitor signal

Tower is new from NewEgg, will not give VGA signal to monitor. Without monitor cannot troubleshoot, any recommendations?

make sure pc is off ,make sure video card is seated properly if it is try resetting cmos there is 3-pin jumper ususlly by battery and usually says reset cmos by it I have seen many differences according to mobo this can also be accomplished by taking out the mobo battery (the little round silver battery) if you have jumper take off 2 pins its on know put on other 2 for 1min then put back turn on, if removing battery take out then turn on pc
