WHERE DO YOU PUT THE WOOD CHIPS IN A MASTERBUILT SMOKER

The wood chips go in the flame disc smoker bowl, that sits just above the burner. To identify it, it has 3 legs on it. To further help you, I have included a link to the Owners Manual, in case you have misplaced yours. You can download and print it for future reference.

I purchased a used Masterbuilt veranda gas grill. The gas regulator fits a small propane tank. Is it possible to replace the regulator so it will fit a large sized propane tank?

Yes, it can be converted to accept a 20 Lb LP grill tan. Contact Masterbuilt Customer Service
1.800.489.1581 to obtain the new hose/regulator assembly.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!

Where do I put the wood chips on this propane Masterbuilt smoker??

After soaking the chips in water, they should be placed on the wood chip tray, above the burner, but below the water pan.If you're using the water pan.

I have a masterbilt propane smoker with no decent instructions. Do I still have to use charcoal?

No, no charcoal is necessary. If you used charcoal, you'd go from low and slow smoking, to high and fast grilling. That's not something you want or can do with a propane smoker. For more information and recipes go to www.masterbuilt.com

There was no users manual with the smoker. do i use charcoal or lava rocks and where do i put them

Hi,

I have used a number of propane smokers and your propane burner will be located at the bottom of the smoker cabinet and you should have a wood / charcoal box above that in which you can place your charcoal or wood.

I have attached a picture that shows the wood / charcoal box. It's not the same smoker but it will give you an idea.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
