Well I have a lexmark x5470 and my brother caused a paper jam but the problem is their is no paper inside the printer or anything like that. so what can I do to remove the paper jam warning when turning the printer on for use.
I have a X3470 that had a jam, wont feed the paper and when it does, it pulls off to the right side. How do you fix this.

my lexmark x3480 printer has a phantom paper jam - there's no paper in there but it keeps telling me theres a paper jam when there isnt and so i cant print anything. please help! If theres any paper in the printer it just spits it out and still says theres a jam!
So far Lexmark has told me that this is a "rollers are defective since it is not feeding the paper in" issue. After an hour of cleaning, resetting, ect. the paper still jams on load.
I have the same problem with the x3480. I had the 'open cover' problem which I fixed by taping up the switch at the back but now only one side is feeding and there is a permanent paper jam error.
I have unplug the printer looked inside and out and there is no paper to be found anywhere.I have removed the ink jet still there is no paper to be found.
