There may be a failure of some type in the system processor area.
Maybe some of the steam from the bioling water and oil and water from the cooking got inside on to the circuit board, and caused some damage.
It is also possible that the heat from the stove did some damage.
It is also possible that there was simply a failure in the system processor area.

The issue is probably your exhaust fan on your microwave comes on automatically when it detects a certain temperature. Mine does this as well but will turn off automatically after temperature goes down.

The touch pad need to be replace, it is not so cheap but if you want to fix it you can order the panel and do it yourself just make sure the unit is off and the capacitor is grounded.

It seems that there is some clogging in the circuits that build up when the SET COOLS DOWN. So when the fault occurs please use a hair dryer to warm the circuit areas, the connection cords and the door switch -- check the inputs to the main board. Somewhere there is a short building up to give a malfunctioning.
Since the board was changed with the same result we need to check all other sections for the problems. The touch panel must be clean, is you suspect there were insects infested within then you need to warm and wash the sections clean so that there no residuals from them.
The heating will indicate the area of problem as when the heat is build up the beep must stop. So SIMULATE this process to come to the exact point of fault.
I personally feel every connectors and voltage points must be cleaned. If dirt is seen on PCB , use a soldering iron to touch up.
