Razor battery won't stay charged

I want to replace the battery on my motorola razr phone.  How do I remove the battery to see any numbers I might need to tell what battery to order.  Is there a way to tell what model phone this is?

Yes there is there should be a few settings on your phone which will display specific settings showing your model , or if not then just look at your phone box , receipt or if your in town take it to a local shop they could tell you straight away. or take a picture of it and send it to me via email and i could tell you what it is ?

Overheating of razor phone

the v3 is known for battery issues. not charging, not holding charge and overheating. my suggesting is get a different model phone. and stay away from razors. they all have battery issues, I know this from multiple customer razor issues. all battery issues.

Razr not charging -

New charger is needed - Razors are VERY particular about their type of charge - If it is a bad charger - You will see the battery indicator flashing red - and it will be empty - this is the phone saying pretty much that it cannot use this charger -

I have had ALOT of problems with razors and returned chargers - Try to scoop up an original - or take it to a location and test the charger first -

You can try to remove the battery and then put it back in - then try to charger it but i doubt that will work -

Get a new charger - TEST IT FIRST IN STORE!!!
Good Luck!

Every phone battery has a life cycle. if the battery is more than year old , it most probably requires a replacement. As its not able to retain charge. If its under one year , get the same replaced from the motorola service center . I had the same problem with my razor and they replaced it free of charge as the same was under 1 yr .

Razor battrey

Did the phone show it was charging on the display? Was the charger firmly connected to the phone? The batteries will go bad after a period of time of recharge cycles. I have bought replacement batteries for my RAZR on eBay. Remove the battery and do a search on eBay for a NEW battery from a dealer using the battery P/N on the battery. I found a higher capacity battery for mine that lasts even longer on a charge than the original one that came with my RAZR. You can do a search on eBay for "RAZR battery". Look at the mAH rating on your battey, Try finding a replacement with the same or higher rating than your original. The higher the mAH rating, the longer it will last between recharge cycles.

Good luck!
