Question about Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens
I was transferring photos from my camera to my laptop when the camera truned itself off part of the way through and would not turn back on again. This happened once before when we were transferring photos onto my boyfriends laptop, it just died. I went to my local camera shop that time and they said it was a problem with the battery, which I had to replace at a cost of €50. I really don't want to have to spend another €50 on another battery. Wasn't being in anyway violent or rough with camera either time so I don't know how to explain why it's doing this. I wondered was it something to do with our laptops having an effect on it? Would you be able to explain what's happening and how to fix it?
I need the photos on it by tomorrow for a presentation so would very much appreciate a quick reply. Thanks.
Take the battery out for 30 minutes or more and then try it back in again - ensure the camera is switched OFF when you do this.
