You need to take the coin slot out by using a socket wrench. then you
need to flip the slot over and take the screws off. there is going to
be two more screws to unscrew. take off that piece and also the claw
like coin catcher. form here on out you should be able to remove as
many slots as you need to.

After review of your washer components, there is a strong possibility that you have a bad electronic control board. You have two control boards, one is for the motor and one for the other functions.
Washer electronic control board for Kenmore Elite Washer model #11021062001 Electronic control board 8571359 is the circuit board that manages the washer's functions, such as filling, washing, draining and spinning. It sends voltage to the drive motor and other electro-mechanical component.
Cost: $218.00
If you elect to replace the board make sure you ground yourself by rubbing your hands on something that is bare steel. Static electricity will knock a board out.
All appliances with electric control boards should have a surge protector. You can purchase a wall socket surge protector for $20-25.00. It is a good investment considering how expensive control boards are.
Rule of thumb; "If the unit is either 7 years old or the cost of repair is 1/3 or more of the original price, purchase a new unit.
Consider it purchasing a new unit, stripping your existing unit for parts to sell on e-bay. You will make a little money and save others expensive parts cost.
code E1 Main electronic control board failure Unplug the washer. Check the wiring connections on the main electronic control board in the console. If the wiring connections are sound, replace the the main electronic control.
Control board needs to be replaced. Many times the control boards go bad because of a spike in the electrical grid cause by a brown out, lightening strike or even a surge in the power. After the control board is replaced... I suggest using a surge protector on all of your electronic devices including the washing machine.
hi if the product number is914512801 followed by 00 the electronic is £170 and has to be programmed on the machine (not do it yourself repair) . if the product number is followed by 01 the electronic is £82 and does not need programming as it is pre configured This you can do. I would look for earth faults on the heater or motor or short circuit on the pump or solonoid valves before changing the electronic . hope this helps.
Check the Water Indicator (WI).
When you think it should be enough water, unplug WI connector from control board and check if on WI connector is closed contact (WI written on the control board housing). If not, try with some more water. And so on. When too much water with no contact on WI, it is the one to be replaced by new one.
NOTE: by every check UNPLUG the machine
I had a very similar problem with my Oasis He Washer 110.27087603. The machine was randomly cycling through different water temperature indication lights. It would repeatedly beep and not allow a wash cycle to complete. Fixya.com alerted me to the "upgrade" to the electronic control W10112112 to W10189966. My machine was scheduled service and a Sears tech replaced that board. My problem with random cycling continued and the tech stated the touch panel electronics; part # 8564392 would fix the problem. He said one of the microswitches on the panel was probably stuck and not allowing the machine to enter a wash cycle. I found the 8564392 panel at http://www.prosupplyco.com/search.aspx?find=8564392 for a very reasonable price. Realize that Whirlpool parts are Whirlpool parts and Sears doesn't hold the only key to them.
What a very poor, casual answer.! I have to complain further.
