    registry key? Are you meaning the Windows XP Home product key? If so that would be illegal for us to post them. If your isn't working, you should maybe contact the activations dept by Telephone, so they can activate it for you.

Did not pass genuine windows validation

This problem has 2 solutions.
the first is called the hook (in my terms). if you possess a genuine windows XP key then activate it online
else i.e. (crook)
there is a registry key for the genuine validation. it will make your windows genuine.

1. Open a 'New Text Document' (Notepad) and type in the following:
(better copy and paste as it is)

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]
"CurrentBuild"="1.511.1 () (Obsolete data - do not use)"
"ProductId"="55274-640-1011873-23081"
"DigitalProductId"=hex:a4,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,35,35,32,37,34,2d,36,34,30,2d,\
31,30,31,31,38,37,33,2d,32,33,30,38,31,00,2e,00,00,00,41,32,32,2d,30,30,30,\

00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,38,31,30,32,36,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,b5,16,\

00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,66,e5,70,f3
"LicenseInfo"=hex:33,b7,21,c1,e5,e7,cd,4b,fd,7c,c6,35,51,fd,52,57,17,86,3e,18,\

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents]
"OOBETimer"=hex:ff,d5,71,d6,8b,6a,8d,6f,d5,33,93,fd

2. Save the file with File Name XP GENUINE.REG
In place of XP GENUINE you can give any name of your choice but the important things to take care of when
saving this notepad file are
save the file name with .REG extension coz its related to registry

3. After saving, open it with Registry editor and your registry will be edited accordingly making your windows XP genuine forever. (if it prompts for a confirmation to edit the registry choose YES)

Restart Your PC and enjoy the genuine version.

If you don't have a product key sticker on your PC somewhere, you'll have to purchase at least a product key to be legitimate.

There are 304 registry errors on my Computer. How can I repair it by online? My computer several time shows Blue Screen. When running System Registry Booster it identifies 304 registry errors and indicates...

Installation CD will not solve UNLESS you do a complete rebuild of the system.

You can subscribe to one of the regitry cleaners that scan and then REPAIR the errors. I have found it worth it to do this. Sometimes you need to run the scanner/cleaner several times to clear all the errors.

My pc is slow work

it it is xp the follow the following steps
When you start to shut down Windows XP, it has to quit, or "kill," any live
applications or processes that are currently running. So close all applications first.
However, some applications and processes are always running in the background.
You can reduce the amount of time that Windows XP waits for those applications and
processes to close before Windows XP kills them.
1. Open registry editor
2. Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop. Set the
WaitToKillAppTimeout and set the value to 1000. Select the HungAppTimeout
\newline value and set it to 1000 as well.
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control.
Select the WaitToKillServiceTimeout value and set it to 10000.
4. Close the Registry Editor.

Memory Tweak
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) and locate the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\
MemoryManagement\PrefetchParameters
2.On the EnablePrefetcher value, change the setting from 3 to 5 (decimal).
3. Close the registry editor and restart your computer

Slow start...

Hello there...

Keep in mind this
1) OS ?
2) How you format your HD. FAT32? or NTFS? how many times?
perhaps you got a bad sector on your HD.
3) verify your CMOS, if you enable 32 enhance mode.
4) Check if you do a quick format? or regular format (takes long)
example: on C: Format C:
5) Antivirus you got? Norton 360? Avg? this could sometimes slow down a bit the systems, and resourses.
6) Memory problems? check
7) Your pagefile? on advance setting in SYSTEM, control panel. put in ( let windows decide...)
thats it
happy nice time

LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160P6S

If your DVD/CDROM is not working ie..playing movies or not installing programs it may be becuase you have installed a software program that edited the regitry for the DVD/CDROM - (Limewire, any burning software, etc..) windwos installs an Upperfilter and or a Lowerfilter in the registry for the CDROM - to correct this follow these instructions:

To resolve this problem, remove the affected filter drivers.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box (Vista) or regedit in the Run box (XP), and then click Regedit in the
Programs list if in Vista or click Open in XP.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue. (Vista)
2. Locate, and then click the following registry subkeys: (must be exact keys)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
Class
Once you have clciked Class the click Edit on the menu at the top
Copy and paste the following key including the curly braces into the Find What box.
Click "Find Next"
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
3. Highlight by clicking on "UpperFilter" and "LowerFilter" ONLY - then hit Delete on the keyboard and select Yes
4. Shutdown and restart the computer
