Almost certainly short on the MB itself, try to open it and clean the logic board, if that doesn't work, you'll have to replace the motherboard. If you want to repair it yourself, - there are online PSP repair guides that show you how to take it apart.

Did you set up an account on the Apple cloud? This would be the only way as your phone would have automatically uploaded recent photos and other phone information to a secured location. You can retreive if you know the log in information for that account.

What To Do if I Drop My Cell Phone in Water?

The small convenient size of cell phones unfortunately also makes these electronics accident-prone, especially when it comes to water. If you drop your cell phone in water it is often possible to salvage it. If you drop your cell phone in water, you may have only seconds to retrieve it, so you need to act fast even if it means retrieving it from the toilet!

The next thing to do if you drop your cell phone in water is to remove the battery immediately without even hesitating to turn off the power. Dry the batter with a towel and set aside to dry thoroughly. The battery itself may or may not work again, fortunately batteries can be replaced fairly inexpensively. Even if the battery does work, it is a good idea to get a new one.

After you have removed the battery, dry off the cell phone with an absorbent towel as best as you can. Use cotton swabs to soak up water in crevices and on any fragile, exposed circuits. It is also helpful to disassemble it if you can and let all the parts dry separately. Just be sure that you know how to put it back together. If it is a flip or sliding cell phone, leave it open.

If you drop your cell phone in a beverage or in salt water, rinse the phone off with fresh water once you have removed the battery. Once you drop the phone in water, the additional rinsing will not do further damage, however, minerals or other materials will.

If you drop your cell phone in liquid that isn’t pure water, you may want to try giving it an alcohol bath. The alcohol will displace minerals and microscopic substances as well as aiding in the evaporation of the fluid. If it is available, you should use an alcohol concentration of 95% rather than rubbing alcohol that usually contains only 70%.

Once your phone is clean, leave it in a warm dry area or near an air conditioner for three days before you attempt to replace the battery and turn it on. This is very important, because although you may think that you have thoroughly dried it, the slightest moisture can react with the battery and cause it to short circuit. If droped your cell phone in water, and want to save it, resist the temptation of turning it on to see if it is working until you have waited at least 72 hours.

Htc one how to dry it out after being drop in water?

If the battery can come out, pull it immediately to prevent further electrical and corrosion issues. If it landed in dirty water, you should rinse it off as it is already wet it won't hurt anything further.

After that there are a few options but the main goal it to be sure you get it all the way dry before turning it on again.

The last time my phone went in the water I put it in an OPEN ziplock bag full of rice then placed it by the heater.

If you are like me and it is hot enough in your house, you could turn your oven to it's lowest setting, 150 degrees or less, and leave your item in there for an hour or more. I would not turn it back on for at least a day or two. if you see and steam on the inside of the screen, it is not dry enough to turn on.

Samsung will not turn on

pull out the battery and leave it out until you are 100% all water inside has dried out.. its not the water itself that does the most damages to the phone. but the power jumping from points to points on the microchips and traces causing erosion by electrolysis and damage by shorting.

the worst thing you can do is putting the battery back in too soon

if its very contaminated water (salty, chemicals.dirt etc.) this wont work tho. since the contaminations will short the phone out

I dropped my sidekick touch 4g in the toilet

if water was clean, LOL
put phone in oven.
battery out first. dry it by hand. leave cover off. (keep battery cool)
1: set oven to AZ temp, 120F.
2: check it carefully with a real thermometer, not stove dial.
3: bake for 1hr.
fixed.
if dirty clean it with Alcohol with fine brush then do above.

Hi there, I believe you would have saved your contacts on the sim rather than the mobile. If that is the case, you can put your sim into another mobile, if you don't have one, maybe your friend's and atleast retrieve the contacts.
Hope this helps :)

The laser or one of the components to the laser was dammaged. the lases is very fragile and even a light touch with your finger can ruin the lens. the best place would be the manufacturer.

Gee I wonder why. Just take the battery out and let both the PSP and the battery dry out for a few days.
