HP 8250 Printer restarts after shut off

When I shut off the printer it restarts after a few seconds. Screen shows the symbol which appears on the ON button; underneath it reads 008BC789. The light on the PHOTO TRAY button blinks. I shut off printer and after a few seconds it restarts. After three or four cycles it
remains off. Next time I use it, same thing.

Thanks

Out of paper message when there is paper

This video is for the C7280, but the instructions are supposed to be true for the 8250. Usually that message when you have paper means that the rollers in the printer are slick and not picking up paper. The video shows how to fix that.

HP 8250 Prints wierd stuff on computer boot up

Used HP's chat, they helped walk me through it. NO CHARGE! You push the 'on' button for 45 seconds after you disconnect all the cables. Plug in the power cable only. Then print a test page. If that works, plug in the USB. Should fix the problem. I'd recommend working with HP, as they can check the internals on your machine while you chat with them.

The All-in-One is updated. It is now safe to use your HP All-in-One.

I hope it will fix the issue. After doing all these things if you still facing the same problem then you need to download printer driver and installed on your computer.

1.
Click Start , point to Settings , and then click Control Panel .
2.

8250 HP INK EXPIRED MESSAGE

I had same problem, and i solved it.
I opened my hp 8250 and removed it`s battery. It is located on left side of the printer, on the main board. You need to remove plastic covers , and then remove 3 screws holding board. You can move board just enough to get damn battery out of there. Now it works perfect!
I can send you some piccs if you need help.
