I am in the same situation, however my camera came with KODAK alkaline batteries in the box, so I don't think that's it.

Are you using alkaline batteries? The Easy Share hates alkaline batteries. Try NiCad or Lithium.

As a quick follow up, the C433 has apparently been discontinued by Kodak. The sad thing is that the owner's manual lists alkaline batteries as an acceptable power source, but now the Kodak web site warns against using them. If you still have your receipt you might try to have Kodak replace the camera.

Also, I suggested NiCad batteries in my previous reply. I meant NiMH. Look on the battery door of your camera for acceptable types of batteries. Good luck!

My Kodak Easy Share C433 camera on the viewing screen only shows 1/2 of the screen. It has a Black triangle and then white on the left side.

It is not possible to buy a viewing screen for KODAK cameras.

I bought a new camara c433 in it won't turn on

1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Turn on your camera without the memory card.

I can not get my Kodak Easy share c633 and c300 to turn on

Will not turn on?

Depending on when you bought the camera and how often you've used it, the battery may be dead. If you haven't had the camera very long, it's possible that the battery may be faulty. If you can find someone with the same camera, ask if you can try their working battery in your camera. If that doesn't work, it may be your camera.

When you say you've tried every different kind of battery, did that include Lithium batts?

Lithiums are the only battery that ALL Kodak cameras seem to be happy to run on.

They have huge problems with alkaline batts, even brand new ones.

Hope this helps.
