Question about Carrier 52CQ315 Air Conditioner
HEEELLLLPPP!! I want to replace the motor and capacitor on my carrier model 38tho60300, but the new capacitor has only 2 terminals (old one has 3)and the motor shaft is 4 times as long. How do I do the wiring? Is there a schematic for the average "joe"?

If this is a fan for inside then you have the speeds to contend with. The info on the READ MORE link is for that of a central unit but it covers your question too. As far as the shaft being too long you have to cut that yourself. I have an electric hacksaw that cost $500 bucks from milwaukee tools that does a fair job of that.
