Re: my psp

Try waiting awhile this happed to me and I let it sit for a couple days and then it worked fine. See if you can drain the battery and then try pluging it in

Re: my psp

Hi Wakeskater,

I got a feeling it has possibly been  Bricked. This means someone was loading a Upgrade or Adding a program and inerupted the progress in the middle of loading.  The Bios truips out and the PSP dies. Basically becoming a paper weight or Brick. This is what htey refer to as Bricked.  I am not saying yours definitely is. .

Remove the battery, and use paper towel folded over a toothpick  and dampen the paper with Rubbing alcohol.  Rub the contacts of the battery to see if that gets the connection made.

Re: my psp

No. The PSP should work without a battery as long as its plugged into the mains. Does the red or green light illuminate when switched on? Maybe he sold you a 'brick'.

Ok in left my psp charging for 3 days the green light turns on but the screen does not it stays black and my friend was updating my psp the he sayed that the battery fell then it turned off and it does not...

Ok it sounds as if your friend has bricked your PSP. Please be careful when you are updating your PSP as this will brick your PSP. Let me give you a quick overview of what happens when your PSP updates, first of all your PSP will erase it's operating system and write a new Operating system, this is why it will not turn on completely if you lose power while it's updating. ONLY UPDATE YOUR PSP IF IT'S COMPLETELY CHARGED AND PLUGGED IN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I will not post the solution to this problem for it is too long to post up here, YouTube has many videos on how to un-brick your PSP. Best of luck, for the solution you can email me at

Playstation portable, psp, will not turn on, will not charge, charging light does not come on., like it's dead

The battery is dead need to purchase new battery or the battery is not accepting charge when you plug in your power cord. If you can borrow your friend's battery to check your psp. If still the same, the problem would be the motherboard itself and need for replacement or repair.

I have my psp plugged in to the power cord for over a day, still not charged and it wont turn on at all. why ?? please help!!!

Probably, either the battery or the charger is busted. Try borrowing a friend's PSP charger and plug it in. The power led of the PSP should turn orange when charging. If it still does not charge, you might need to replace the battery.

Psp carge light wont come on and psp wont turn on

You either have a bad battery, or a bad power supply that charges the unit (power cord). If you have a friend that also has a PSP, try swapping out the battery to see if that works, and or try another power cord to see if the charging indicator light comes on. I think that possibly your battery is dead and the power cord might be bad. You can find good deals for both the battery and cord on ebay. Good luck!

PSP cannot be charge through wall charger

Maybe the powerpoint that you used isn't working!

Try charging on another powerpoint!

If it isn't the chargers' fault, then it must be your battery, or PSP DC IN connector, where you insert the charger into the PSP.
