-   I'm also having this problem. I have a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR 104 drive, and it won't recognize DVD-RW discs. I've tried severel different programs to burn onto DVD-RWs, and none of them work. It keeps telling me there isn't a disc in the drive. On the other hand, DVD-Rs work fine with it. It's very frustrating. I hope someone can post a solution soon. -   Guest

-   I have the same problem. The driver that I am using is a Lightscribe. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, and I still have no luck with the software starburn. The programs I am using does not recognize the disks in the drive. I have used +R which is what my drive states it is, -rw -r and +rw. None of them are recognized. I am not sure what to do next.
