Question about Krups Aroma Control 229 Coffee Maker
I had the same problem. Here are some photos.

The plastic handle is made in two parts. If you look carefully you will see the seam, pry it apart there. I used a butter knife and started at the bottom. It is not really easy and will feel like it is going to break but it does come apart. When the top half is off you will see two phillips screws that hold the lower half on the pot, tighten them!

I have been looking all over for this part. One site didn't have anything like what you need and the other site I have found goes by model number. Here is a link to that web page. I hope it helps. If it doesn't please leave me a comment and give me your model number and I will keep trying for you.
