Question about Frigidaire FEF336BC Electric Kitchen Range
The oven won't work as the it still thinks the door is locked.
I get a code F-15 - which I can not find anywhere.
Any ideas??
Isn't it amazing that a 30 weed-eater has a warrenty of 2 years and a $600 range has only one year.!!!!
F15 code is the main circuit top panel on the back its in the center when you remove the back look for burnt wires the part is about $225

Not sure what f-15 is either? Look on the back of the stove and see if there is a tech sheet. This will tell you the codes. My guess would be the lock motor has gone bad. You can check the motor by removing the wires from its terminals and check for resistance with an ohm meter. Make sure to unplug stove first! Was this after running a clean cycle? Let me know what you find.

Hi
F9 is a door lock error and to solve this issue you can hold
the light switch for 15 seconds, this will reset the control. If it won't work
then hold the light switch in and set the unit to clean and after a minute
press cancel to cancel the clean cycle. If still it won't work then the door
lock assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post
back for further assistance.

F-15 wasn't on the list either.
I don't know how it happened. I had a guest who said he pushed a bunch of buttons - I don't know WHY. I hadn't used self-cleaning in about two months. He took the back off last night and did the electric jump to unlock the door, the door now opens but the oven thinks it is still locked.
He did check the motor and it is good. He thinks it may be the circuit board - I hope not.
I will left you know when I eventually find something out.
Thanks for your time
