Question about Power Acoustik A2400DB Car Audio Amplifier
I have hooked up everything and the system works great. 2 PA 12's and a 2400W PA amp with a 2 farad cap. everything works great but the 4 awg wire is hot in the engine compartment. from the batter to the fuse and then a little on past the fuse. The jeep was left overnight and when looked at this morning... the wire was still hot after the engine compartment was cool. Any Suggestions?
For that amplifier you need to be running 0 gauge wire . Also check your ground to make sure you have the best connection possible.
