Honda does not make pressure washers. Does the unit have a brand name on it? Is the engine a 'side shaft' engine (pump mounts on the side) or is it a 'drop shaft' engine (pump mounts on the bottom)? If it is a bottom mount pump is the bolt pattern app 4 inches or app 12 inches?

You can try spraying some carburetor cleaner into the carb. If it starts for a minute, your carburetor need cleaning. When you added new gas did you remove the old gas first? Is the air filter clean?

SOURCE: I want to remove the 4gpm pump on my pressure washer.

HI, It sounds like it is just stuck on the keyway as these can be very tight. You need to force the pump of evenly on either side and should come of if patient.

It sounds like the unloader on your pump is going bad but it is hard to say if it is that or the valves in the pump. The only issue with this machine is that parts are no longer available for this pump. The only option I really have for you is to replace the pump with a new one, it is a very simple process and only takes about 15 minutes to complete.

See this link for information on the pump that would fit your machine

The only thing else you might need is a coupler to have the hose adapt onto this pump

See this link for the coupler

No peessure

if you have good water flow to it and you have water coming out of the lance when you pull the trigger but its not under presure then it will most likely be bad valves in the pump head or worst case a fault in the pump. any questions just ask away

No pressure. Have cleaned inflow filter, checked water supply and cleaned and lubed the uploader valve.

if there is water comming out of the back of the pump then your piston seals need replaced , if the lace vibrates then one or more pump valves are blocked ) theres 6 in total /in pairs ) , try running the machine with no hose/lance connected as the lance nozzle often blocks up /malfunctions

hope this helps , if it does please vote

I have a karcher 2400 psi pressure washer and it doesnt get water pressurized when pulling wand trigger.

the most comon problem with thease is a stuck bypass valve, this is the valve that alowes the water to bypass round the pump when the triger is closed, when they stick all of your pressure runs around the pump and not out of your nozzle,,
its located in the centre of the pump on the top, undo the 2 cap screws pull out valve greese and re fit
