I have the same problem, but the screen is completely white. It lights up and everything, but there's nothing on the screen. It was working fine and did this all of a sudden, I have no idea what could have prompted it to do this

In iPhone4 we can use the Home button for various purposes. By default the home button is for taking us to the home screen. We can unlock the screen when it is turned off by pressing home buton once and sliding the screen to unlock. Pressing the home button we can reach the Spotlight screen. For activating the voice control we have to press the home button for two seconds.By pressing the home buttton and sleep/wakeup button at same time we can take the image of the currently dispayed screen. The screenshot will be saved to the saved photis album. In iPhone4 we can perform the Multitasking.Pressing the Home button twice activates the multitasking menu bar at the bottom of the screen. We can open any application in the multitasking br by tapping its icon.We can close any application displayed in multitasking bar by tapping and holding and pressing the red minus symbol on the upper left corner of the application when they start moving. The Triple click feature in iphone privides accessiblity features.
