I keep getting the 1E error code on my Samsung Fridge

The "1E" code is an error code that may be displayed on some Samsung refrigerator models. This code indicates that there is a problem with the freezer fan or the freezer fan control board.

If you are getting the 1E code on your refrigerator and the freezer is not freezing properly, there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check the freezer temperature. Make sure that the temperature is set correctly and that the freezer is getting cold enough.

Check the freezer fan. Make sure that the freezer fan is running properly and is not obstructed.

Check the freezer fan control board. The freezer fan control board may be faulty and need to be replaced.

Check the wiring. Make sure that all of the wiring is properly connected and secure.

If you are unable to troubleshoot and resolve the issue on your own, you may need to call a technician for professional assistance. It is recommended to unplug the refrigerator before attempting any repairs to avoid the risk of electric shock.

1E code display. Checked water pressure, changed inlet valve and float. Still 1E code

You need to check the voltage on the inlet valve coil terminals to see whether the main control board is actually switching the valve on to take in water.
If not replace the main control board PCB as this is the only other problem remaining.

Code 1E is showing on the display

Looks like its a Water Pressure Switch error according to this website: http://appliancehelponline.com/samsung.html

Check out other fixya reviews that answered the same question. Evidently you just "reset" it and it'll go away. http://www.fixya.com/support/t14052028-samsung_refrigerator_error_code_1e_or_ie

WHAT DOES ERROR MESSAGE 1E MEAN AND HOW DO WE FIX IT?

On LG's, a 1E error message usually means there is a problem with the water inlet valve. Check your shutoff valve under the sink, first, just to make sure someone didn't accidentally turn it off. If it's on, then it's most likely the water inlet valve located under the dishwasher.

Samsung refrigerator rf4287 power out for 5 days when power came back up display screen flashing 1 (or I ) and letter E

The IE error code is actually 1E. That stands for freezer sensor error. The sensor is reading open or shorted to the main pcb. You need to check the wire connections, from the sensor to the main pcb. I provided you a sensor temperature chart and wiring schematic on the images below. You will need a multimeter to perform the voltage checks. I hope this helps.

HOW CAN I SOLVE MY PROBLEM BY MY SAMSUNG WA1065D1 , it shows 1E? When I switch it on after a few seconds it shows 1E? Can u please help me?

WATER PRESSURE SWITCH ERROR - Display shows 1 E.

* Generated Frequency Signal of WATER LEVEL (WIL) SIW (KHz)

Normal Level = Abnormal W/L Frequency
Low Level = 30.00 Khz
High Level = 15.00 Khz

If the same signal is detected for more than 5 seconds, it is a PRESSURE SWITCH Error. When this error occurs the drain pump will operate for 3 min. and the display will show 1 E indicating a pressure switch error.

Anytime I try to multiply .001X.001, any decimal beginning with a zero, I get an error. For example, .001X.001=1 E-6...My mode is set in normal, and I reset it to default, what am I missing?

This is not an error. .001 multiplied by .001 is 1E-6.

If the absolute value of a number is less than .001, the calculator will always display it in scientific notation. 1E-6 is interpreted as 1 times 10 to the minus sixth power.

To solve 10 raised -3, to be done with cal., answer in the display ought to be .001

The calculator has several decimal display formats: FIX, SCI, NORM and ENG.
Here are examples of calculations with different formats and how to set them.
bb39c8f.jpg
It may be a good idea for a user to get accustomed to the scientific display format, because it is the one most calculators adopt when the result to be displayed is too large or too small--when there are not enough places on the screen to display the result.

To help you with the power of 10 notation

1 billion =1000 000 000 =1 E 09 (9 zeros after 1 >> exponent 9)
1 million=1 000 000 = 1 E 06 (6 zeros after 1 >> exponent 6
1 thousand= 1000 =1 E03 (3 zeros after 1 >> exponent 3)
One= 1 = 1 E0
One tenth = 1/10 =0.1: the 1 is ONE position after the decimal mark>> exponent -01
One hundredth =1/100 =0.01 the 1 occupies the 2ND position to the right of the decimal point, exponent -02
etc.
1/1000 =0.001 = 1E-03
1/10000=0.0001=1E-04 (1 in 4th position to the right of decimal mark)
1/1000000=0.000001 = 1E-06 (1 in 6th position to the right of decimal mark)

1E-09 =0.000000001 : the 1 is in the 9th position to the right of decimal mark.

Lens wont retract, makes noises, error code on blue screen D:1E 1A

I posted the same problem on the 15th June and in the meantime I have been playing around with the camera. After holding the camera upside down and gently tapping the back of it, the lens decided to work and retract back into the camera. Not the most technical advice I know but it seemed to work.
