Question about Whirlpool Dryers

1 Answer

Hi, My Whirlpool AWZ541 condensing tumble dryer is not heating..the other functions appear ok. The two thermostats on the heating element have been checked and are working. It was suggested that a third stat (near the filter) may be out, but can't find it behind the lower front panel. Is there a third (or more) stats to check?

I identified the part on an online spares company and rechecked behind the lower front cover. Only the rear side of the stat was exposed, but it matched the image. I removed the part and found it to be the same stat.
