Question about Toshiba 50H13 50" Rear Projection Television

Toshiba 50h13 hyperboard

I need a Toshiba 50h13 hyperboard. I was told it needs to be "rebuilt" and I'm thinking it might be cheaper to just get a new one with the upgraded caps on it. Anybody know of a source for the board? Thanks.

I suspect that it won't play any source that uses progressive scanning. The likely problem is the hyperboard or scaler board. This component allows the TV to switch from sandard definition TV to HD. Typically, the hyperboard will cause shaking and wiggly images especialy noticeable at the top of the screen. It will generally work better the longer its on. Expect to spend $400-500 to resolve this.
