i have a quatum 610 power chair when i use it the batterys (new) discharge fast i get about 2 miles per charge it makes a clicking noise but not all the time and even makes the clicking noise after its shut down there is a black box on the front and the red like always blinks even after it has been turned off the blinking stated the batterys need charged but the batterys are fully charged there are no codes blinking from the joy stick any help would be great thanks ..........
Your batteris need to be replaced with fresh, gel-sealed batteries. These take U-1 batteries, which are rated at about 32-34 amphours. They are pricey, about $100.00 each, so you need two for about $200.00. Completely charge the chair after new batteries are installed, and you should get a good 14 miles range out of it.

- Also, I should add that the "clicking" noise you mentioned is normal. The automatic charging system for powerchairs and scooters give an intermittent charge to the batteries to bring them up slowly because they are sealed, air-tight batteries. This allows the battery to settle down and not build up gas which cannot vent, thus creating a hazard of the case expanding and blowing apart. The red light blinking is a code which indicates dead batteries.
I have a quatum and I get around 6-7 miles with a full charge on flat lands. But I live in a very hilly area so the battery can lose 60% going 3 miles with extreme hills. I know this does not help you, but I thought the info would be useful when you get it fixed.

Someone gave us a Jet 7 Power chair and we've replaced the batteries and the fuse. I've checked all connections and everything seems ok. but I'm missing something because I'm still getting 2 flashing red lights when I hit the power button. Any suggestions? I'd like to fix this myself if possible. thanks.
