Waring WMK300 professional Belgian waffle maker

I bought it brand new, used it for 1 or 2 days and now it turns on, but it won't heat up. How do I fix?

Same thing. The second time I used it - it made two waffles - now won't get hot.

Same with mine...were you able to use the warranty for this product? I got mine for Christmas 2007...used it twice. Now it won't heat up.

I received the wafflemaker as a gift and used it twice. On the third time it stopped heating up while I was in the middle of making waffles.

I've had the waffle maker for about 5 months and now it doesn't heat.

Same problem, it lights up showing it's on, but it never heats up. This is the second one we've been through. The first one lasted a couple of months and we returned it to Costco. The second one lasted about a year.

SOURCE: I need a replacement handle for my Waring WMK300

If it is out of warranty, you will need to ask for parts from a service center.
No one is offering broken, used or as-is WMK300 on ebay. Maybe you should try to sell your waffle maker on ebay as parts. Somebody must need the circuit board, for example.

Waffle maker won't heat

There is a thermal fuse inside the bottom half of the unit, enclosed in a white insulating sleeve. A replacement can be found on Amazon.com at the following URL:

Will not heat.

Just spray the grids before each use with something like Pam, or put a thin coat of oil on them. I found it's better to spray before each waffle so it won't stick.

You are wise to be cautious. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) needs to know about this situation, and your input, along with that of others, will be used to start an investigation.

Too much excitement just to enjoy waffles!

No heat on brand new Waring WMK300 waffle maker

Lots of appliance makers include a 1 800 number with the paperwork that comes with an appliance.

I would try to find that number and call them. They owe you a replacement unit. If you can't find the number do a Google search for Waring and they should have a tel number and/or a "contact us" place to send and email.

Good luck Loringh
