Is the computer recognizing the connection to the network?  Does the home network use DHCP?  How do you have the network setup?  Does this connection work with a different computer?  Try pinging any other computer on the network, and try pinging a website.

Sony Vaio All in One desktop will not sign in to Internet, will connect wirelessly to home network.

I also had a friend with problems like these. It turned out to be a clock problem of it's setting in the bios. If this is it and later you have the same problem after a new startup, you must change the 3 V. battery on your motherboard.

This may have something to do with your Internet connection go to IE explorer then when you see diagnose connection do this if that is the case. It should repair the issue or give you an idea as to what is wrong with you Network Connection. If you can access other web sites just not I Tunes it could be that their server is down temporarily this does happen sometimes. If you are on a modem or router you may wish to reset the modem and router to fix the Internet Access issues.

It appears from your question that it has nothing to do with what you are doing just a bad connection back and forth to I Tunes I would try the reset on the modem or router or restart your computer as well. Thanks for using FixYa! John

This may sound silly, have you 'shared' these resources and granted appropriate permissions?

You may bet help from a product called Network Magic. Free to download and evaluate - read the deal at the website. NM will help with sharing, security and connectivity as well as other features. Cant conect to internet using wirles with Windows Vista

Hi,

This method will hard reset the wireless drivers back to default settings, but before you perform this remove power from the modem and router for 2 minutes reconnect power and wait another 2 minutes for them to settle down.

Right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", a list will populate, then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless adapter and "uninstall" the device, reboot the PC and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again.

Good luck.

How to connect wifi with acer laptop

Any wireless router will work. You just have to find the router’s signal on your computer (and sign in to the network potentially).
Your laptop should have a built in wireless card. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to wirelessly use the internet until you do. I’m assuming you are using Windows.
Click Start at the bottom of the screen, the open your Control Panel. Select the category Network and Internet Connections.
There should be a wireless network setup wizard in there, and will help guide you through the process of setting everything up.
Good luck!

If i am helpful please rate me.
Thank you.
