Question about HP LaserJet 2430dtn Printer
This is a network printer (and there are others exactly like it on our network as well - set up exactly the same). the LAN is good, the IP is good, the settings are good.
I deleted it, recreated it, rebooted it, checked the LAN cable, checked the power cable, removed it off the user PC and re-added it.When I turn it off and back on - it goes to processing job - blinks the data light 10 times, then goes back to ready mode. I can't get it to work outside of directly hooking it up - and that is not the point of it (its supposed to be a network printer!)
If it is a new machine then you may want to give your vwndor a call and have tech support help you.
I work with HP's a lot, and my opinion is tha the Nic card is bad.
It isa not holding the data.
