Question about Palit Microsystems GeForce 8800 GT,, PCI Express Video Card
I've got problem with my card Palit 8800 GT 1GB.
My preformance is:
Intel Core2Duo: 3.0
2x Palit 8800 GT 1GB (SLI)
1 GB DDR 2(x4)
My problem is strange screen when i am playing games with are using high preformance(like Crysis Cryostasis UT III). This strange screen is showing in about 40 minutes when game is on highest detail. I think that is something wrong with my temperature of my card(highest temperature was 120 celcios degrees). My screen is deformated, textures are monocolor and after that i can see stripes all over screen. After that computer shows blue screen.
I can send a picture of my problem with card on somebody e-mail.
Sory for bad grammary. I'am not from England or USA
This certainly sounds like the card is over heating, 120 celcius is way to high for the card to be working as mine is the 8800 GTX and runs at 60 celcius at the most. The blue screen just confirms this further as windows will do that to stop it from getting too hot. I would make sure that the fan is working properly on the card and if it has dust in it or anything like that then remove it and try again.
