Question about Panasonic Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

Panafax PD 2400

We have a thermal fax machine, a PANAFAX PD 2400, no user manual. We have a code 002 on the unit, with a red alarm light. We Just put a new roll of paper in it, it was not the paper, as the paer had run out, and 002 is not because of new roll. I was wondering if there is a manual avail anywhere for the unit, or at least a listing of codes and what they mean.

ERROR CODE 041 ON PANAFAX

There is a fix for this. But only a Panasonic tech has access to the parts for the fix. The toner sensor underneath must be moved closer to the cartridge, you are not low on toner.

Sometimes when this machine loses power it goes to a default setting (flashing time and date) You will need to got to the user parameters and reset the time and date. If you refer to your user manual it will tell you how to do this.

Hope this helps...

The panafax prints automatically if all covers are closed and there are no red light errors. The green memory light is on when you are faxing out or receiving a fax.
