Contact your states attorney general office and file a complaint online. Hopefully if enough of these get through they will do something. I live in Ohio and this is their website http://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/ConsumerComplaint

Check diagrams on website below, and see if this unit is fused, if not test and eventually replace the control or the switch alone if available.

nter the model number on one of two websites below to get parts and diagrams for your appliance:

I have had the same problem with either the stovetop, timer, or oven or any combination. Last time this happened I found that by romoving the back pannels, bottom then top, (be safe and unplug) you can then release the ribbon wire from their sockets. Having done this I cleaned the contacts with some Windex but I imagine any grease cutting kitchen surface cleaner would work. I

imagine I'll have to do this again next time the buttons start acting up.

I realize this is 3 years late but maybe someone will find it useful.

Open the oven door and you should see screws on the overhang where the door fits in,take those off and that should loosen the whole top of the stove, then you will see what to do next and what you have to remove to replace what you need, hope this helps some what.

Donna:
Have you checked the main power input terminals first? they do carry a lot of current and are subject to burning off, then if electronically controlled,it could be an electronic fuse in the ovens control panel/keypad shutting things down, somewhat unlikely though...let me know and thank you for using this site.....Dan

My microwave is locked and i dont know how to unlock it

"Locke" meaning the door? or locked meaning the buttons don't work? If it is the buttons then you have the child lock on. Push and hold the "Start" button for 4 to 5 seconds, and it will unlock.

Lg lre30451sw oven the start button doesn't work

This happened to me on Christmas Day morning & it happened once before. I finally remembered how I fixed it. Push the "Clear" button & then push the "Start" & keep it held in until you see the lock button light up (takes awhile) & then push the "Clear" button again. After I did this the "Clock" worked again - reset the clock to the correct time & push "Start" Then click on "Bake" set your temperature & push "Start". Hope this works for you. It got me out of cooking Christmas Dinner, but I fixed it today!!

The interior oven light in most ovens is a standard 40 watt appliance bulb. Often, to change the bulb, you first need to remove a shield or glass dome. If the bulb isn't burned out, the problem may be with the switch on the oven door frame. If the switch works poorly, intermittently, or not at all, you need to replace it.
