Jensen vm9212 telephone mute problem

Hi
I have installed my Jensen Vm9212 into my car and had no problem with it until now. The tel mute feature is on and will not turn off. I checked the the wire and made sure it was properly insulated, but its doesn't work. Is there a way to manually switch off the telephone mute, because i don't have a phone hook up to it.
Please help
thanks

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I have a Jensen VM9226BT it will mute itself when driving I noticed that it has a mute wire what do I connect the wire to?

Hi, according to the wiring diagram of this unit, the mute wire (brown) is active when you connect it to ground (chassis), so if not used it could be left disconnected because commonly there is an internal resistor to +12V, but it should be wrapped with electrical isolating tape to avoid any contact of bare wire to chassis during car motion.

Brake override Jensen vm9212

Are they "burned" DVDs? The brake override will only allow video to come through the screen it won't make the unit not read them.
