Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

I purchased a china 2gb clip on mp3 player. It worked for 2 days. After that it's not turning on at all. When I connect it to my pc i get the''USB device not recognized:malfunctioned'' error. The led indicators on the player is not turning on. What may be the problem? Is the battery damaged? Can I repair it? Please help me.

Thanks for your reply. But I dont know how to format it? The device is not recognized by the system. So it's not listed in 'my computer' . Also I checked the device manager. It's still not there.

No the battery is not damaged rather its firmware has been completely damaged by the virus so format it completely by fat32 file system and then download its firmware from the official site

Lost charger for samsung yp-k3 2gb mp3

The MP3 player is charged by connecting the supplied USB cable to the MP3 player and then plugging the other end of the USB cable into the USB port of a working computer.
You can also purchase a 5 volt mains USB adapter. Connect the MP3 player and USB cable to this 5 volt mains USB adapter to charge the MP3 player.

My Sansa Clip died after installing Rockbox!

Maybe installing Rockbox makes your device corruption. If plug the device to pc, the pc still recognize it, update new firmware from sandisk official site, http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/

Hey my sandisk sansa 2gb mp3 player will not charge and it is bran new how do i fix this

1) Try plugging it into a USB port on the BACK panel of your PC, and leave it there for a few hours.

2) Try plugging it into an AC adapter, and leave it there for a few hours.

3) There was a manufacturing problem with many Sansa Clips where the battery leads would detach from the battery. This would result in the Clip not being chargeable, and eventually it would only turn on when connected to a PC (which bypasses the battery). If this is the case with yours, you'll need to return it for a replacement.

My pc wont let me install new sandisk 2gb mp3 player

On your sansa, go to "Settings" then System Settings" then "USB Mode," then change it to MSC, if that does not work, try the other modes, just in case.
Hope this helps!
