If the speaker cable was pulled with a lot of force and at an angle to its connector, the most likely problem is a broken connection inside the wire. A visual inspection will not prove that problem but you can try connecting the speaker and wire to another output on the receiver. If the speaker and wire prove to be good then it's most likely that the solder point for that speaker output was broken on the circuit board.

Good Luck,
BB

Either the laptop speakers are switched off in the control panel or the headphone socket is faulty.

Radio or speakers don't work

Betting that you've got a wiring issue on the back of the radio. Pull the stereo & check your connections. Somewhere the speaker wires came loose.

Rain got into my truck window now my speakers has stopped working...what should i do?

Could have damaged the speakers or the radio or both.
You could pull a door panel and connect a small used speaker to see if the radio is producing a feed to the door.

This really sounds like a wiring problem. I would start from scratch, seeing as how it will be difficult to find the issue you describe. Also, if you can, solder your connections to the radio. If you used crimp butts they may not have been tight enough and vibrated loose with use of the boat. Hope this helps

You 'looked' at the wiring but have proven it is defective by swapping the speaker independent of the wiring. What's next? Replace the bad wiring.

What happens when you put a working speaker and wire on the front left output?

My mtx ts5510 stopped working while driving. Was hooked to an mtx thunder 81000 class d and its still working. ????

Inspect speaker for loose wires/broken wires. Check inside box for loose connection. Blown fuse on amp. Ive literally pulled the wires out of the speaker. The little mesh ones from the terminal to the cone. Look for that. If you do find something broken or bad. remember you can call MTX and fix for a flat rate on most evrything they carry. Ive sent several amps there. normally around $100

Everything on my radio works but theres no sound.i did go into the settings and turn on the power IC

Is that no sound for all speakers and the subs sometimes if just one speaker wire is crossed wrong all the speakers will stop functioning . did you just install it your self or replace any speakers or did it just stop working. i would pull it out and look at the wires mainly the speaker wires and turn the radio on while you can still inspect the connections, wiggle them a little. may help,

Right front speaker works but no other ones do. i have checked the wiring and all look connected. what else could it be.

It might be your stereo or it could be just blown speakers. I had a car of that vintage and the speakers had to be replaced because they would blow out with use and age. I hope this helps you. God bless.

Logitech THX Z-2300 only one speaker works. theres something wrong with the input. both speakers work fine but the 1 of the inputs on the subwoofer stopped working, causing only one speaker 2 work

try tapping the speaker box in your palm while the speaker is connected. There might be a bad contact of the wires inside. I had to open up my speaker to find that out. i moved around the wires connected to the cone of the speaker and then started to hear music once i did that. it was the left speaker by the way.

Right rear auto speaker inop

Can you try switching the rear speakers? This will show whether its the speaker itself or something else. If the other speaker also doesn't work when connected to the right rear wires, make sure the wires are connected correctly in the back of your stereo. The purple and purple/black wires are the ones that should lead to the right rear speaker if it is an aftermarket stereo. Let me know if you need further advice.
