Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
My network wireless modem does not appear on both my laptops and my desktops ''connect to a network'' . both my computers are vista home premiums and my LAN works, but my wireless doesnt
You may have to configure the router and change some wireless settings to get it to work, goto the router configuration page, (run ipconfig /all, at a command prompt, to get the "ip address" for the rotuer config page, I believe it is the"Default Gateway" that you would enter in the address bar of IE to get to the page, (the pass will be user:Admin, Pass:Admin, orPass, or Password, or 12345 on some older ones) then click on the wireless menu's from the left.
I hope this helps, if so please give a fixya rating if it solves/helps solve your problem.
P.S. The router itself may be broken, and LAN may still work while WAN will be not working, usually buy a new router.
