Download itunes at apple.com
install it and hook your ipod up.
when it mounts to itunes you will see a picture of an ipod
next to the picture is the name in the ipod.
click and type in a new one.
then on the left edge of itunes you will see an ipod icon and the name.
under that is the music folder, open it and you will see all the song on the right in the big white area.
click on a song then right click and delete.
to delete multiple songs. Highlight a song and go down to the last song and press SHIFT on the keyboard and click the last song. they will all highlight, right click and delete.

If this helps you please leave a vote in fixya

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Downloaded a load of songs onto phone and now l cant delete them! How do l delete them from the phone...?

When I want to delete songs I use HTC's Music app. Have you tried this already?

Go to the Music list and look for the specific song, long press on the song title (or the Album Name to delete all songs in that album), and select "Delete" on the popup menu.

Hope this helps.

I cant change my play list. i want to change my song and i cant reset any of my original ones

Open your MP3 through Windows Explorer, open the Playlists folder and delete whichever playlist you want deleted. Edit it through WMP11 and reinstall. You can rearrange and delete songs through Explorer, but you can't add songs.

Reads Bad Track

If you changed the name of the song then thats the problem just simply change its name back to the original.

If thats not the problem then just delete the song or it will mess your sansa up and download it again for free with limewire

Krzr's bluetooth and ringtones are messing up badly

check the file name of the song and look if there is a lock icon beside it. if it does you wont be able to change/delete or send that file either by bluetooth nor mms.

Deleting the same song, with a different name

the reason it doesn't show the track version is because you changed the ID3 tag (which is something inside the music file, not the actual file name).

Try using winamp to delete your songs, it will read all the ID3 tags properly and show you the track version names
