Question about Pioneer DEH-P690UB CD Player
I recently purchased a 1996 Thunderbird with the Pioneer Super Tuner 3 radio installed. I need to remove this radio from the dash. How do you release this radio from the mounting adapter. I am assumming it comes out of the dash from the front like the factory radio did.
If it's been installed with the original DIN mount, there are 2 small flat clips that slide in a small slot on each side of the radio. The 2 pieces of metal are pushed in to release the clips holding the radio in the bracket. Then the radio pulls out
Those clips come with the Pioneer stereo but should be available from a place that sells/installs car audio
