This is all that I could find I hope that this helps you with your issue. There is not a way that I can find even in my book that tells me that serial number

Husqvarna 450 e chainsaw chain tension wheel doesn't lock and the cover comes off during use

The adjustment handle snaps down to lock. If the handle is coming loose, I recommend replacing the handle. You can also go to standard bar bolt set up if you prefer. Check with your Husqvarna dealer for part numbers.

My husqvarna chainsaw serial # is 830440393. I want to order parts but I don't know what model I have. Please help.

You can find your model number at the same spot that the serial number and brand name are. You have to know the model to get parts.

Here are a couple of sites I like to order parts from for mine.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks for visiting\

Replaced chain, now cover won't go back on

I don't know specifically what the trouble is but suspect the bar is not properly located over the adjuster device. Please remove everything and try again. Make sure the adjuster engages the adjuster hole on the bar. A dear friend of mine said "They are made to go together properly. They are not made to go together wrong".

I think reassembly will overcome your trouble what ever the source.

Model 380cd chainsaw I need to purchase a new fuel pipe and filter, can you please advise me, thanks

Any local chainsaw shop. It will be no more expensive, you will not pay a shipping and handling fee and you have it hand the same day.

If you want to pay more, and wait for delivery, it is listed here on one of the displays.
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000; black numbers on silver tag 90s; silver numbers on black tag 80s)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week. HTH.

Husqvarna chainsa;starts but chain sprocket doesnt

1) Chain brake is on. Pull the handle back towards the operator
2) Chain is too tight on bar
3) Debris caught inbetween bar and chain
4) Sprocket teeth are worn out

My Poulan Bar & Chain Oil gets used up very, very quickly???

Results for a Poulan 4018WT Type 2 (WildThing)
That is excessive, make them repair it. Your saw is warranted for 1 year.
The IPL lists no oiler adjustment and the Operator's Manual doesn't mention any oiler adjustment.
If you using any Bar Oil (30 weight with stuff added to make adhere to your bar and chain) and not a light weight motor oil I recommend you contact Poulan and make them repair it. Anything you attempt may void your warranty, do nothing without an official OkeyDokey. Get names, dates, and times in an e-mail for any official OkeyDokeys and save a copy them somewhere a computer crash won't wipe them out.

Contact Poulan here: The dash number of your serial number is the type.
or telephone during normal business hours EST here:
Handheld (Chainsaws, Trimmers, Blowers, Edgers)

Have your chainsaw within easy reach, they will want your serial number.

Throttle lock is broken. Wow do I repair it

Get an estimate from your friendly neighborhood Husky dealer. You might be pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they are.

An IPL (exploded parts list) with handle detail can probably be found here:
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – for use with IPL
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

Husqvarna 136 chain brake handle spring.

You can get an IPL here:
I don't think this has the detail you need.
If it were me I'd visit my friendly neighborhood Husky chainsaw seller (not Big Box Store) and ask to look at the clutch cover with the brake installed (take a camera). I'd probably ask for a quote for their repair too. HTH
Your model is no longer sold. The seller will know what model replaced it and may be willing to explain the repair procedure for your saw you. Take the cover and loose parts with you.
